Dr. Walid Abdarhman is a senior consultant in general and visceral surgery with extensive international clinical experience and a strong academic background. His medical focus lies in minimally invasive surgery as well as gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery.

After completing his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli, and obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree (Dr. med. univ.) from the Medical University of Vienna, Dr. Abdarhman completed his specialist training in general and visceral surgery at several renowned hospitals. He has worked in Austria both as a resident and as a senior consultant, gaining comprehensive experience in elective oncological procedures as well as acute and emergency surgery.

Dr. Abdarhman has particular expertise in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery with more than 100 successful video-documented procedures of the gastrointestinal tract as well as more than 5,000 successful operations in general and visceral surgery. Additional areas of focus include colorectal surgery, Antireflux Surgery, hernia surgery, and complex visceral surgical procedures. His continuous professional development includes a university diploma in colorectal surgery from the University of Strasbourg.
